Disposal of chemical waste associated with the relocation of facilities.

We will support the person in charge of facility relocation and related matters in terms of removal and disposal.

Are you facing any of these issues? ☑ You are planning to relocate a facility or factory, but a large amount of leftover chemicals has accumulated. ☑ Chemicals remain in chemical plants or tanks scheduled for dismantling or removal. ☑ The concentration is high, and you cannot perform the cleaning work yourself. Relocating facilities or dismantling and removing equipment with leftover chemicals can lead to serious accidents. By providing comprehensive support from preliminary surveys to the actual work, we can ensure compliance with acceptance conditions at waste disposal facilities and ensure safety during transportation, alleviating the concerns and risks faced by our customers.

Information related to waste disposal-2

The guidelines for providing waste information have been revised to the third edition.

Due to the revision of the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law, the obligation to provide information on Type 1 designated chemical substances to waste generators will be enforced starting January 1, 2026. In preparation for this enforcement, the "Guidelines for Providing Waste Information" are scheduled to be revised to the third edition, and this has been confirmed on the Ministry of the Environment's website. In addition to changes to the WDS format in response to the legal revision, there are also modifications and additions to the guidelines themselves, reflecting changes from previous concepts. We have published a preliminary and brief explanation of these changes in our company’s website column. Main revisions to the guidelines: 1. Addition of content regarding the amendments to the enforcement regulations. 2. Emphasis on the importance of two-way communication between waste generators and waste treatment operators in information transmission. 3. Revision of the WDS format. Looking at aspects unrelated to the legal revisions, there is an intention to ensure safety at disposal sites and prevent accidents, rather than merely providing one-sided information. If anyone is having trouble creating WDS documents, please feel free to consult with our company.

Information related to waste disposal - 1

Mandatory provision of information on Type 1 designated chemical substances and the addition of reporting items for disposal operators in electronic manifests.

The amendment to the Waste Management Act regulations was promulgated on April 22, 2025. The additional content resulting from the amendment consists of the following two points. The changes will significantly impact practical operations, so this information is directed toward those who may not yet be aware. 1. Mandatory provision of information on Type 1 designated chemical substances - Effective date: January 1, 2026 [Overview] As part of the contract, businesses handling Type 1 designated chemical substances must include information on the Type 1 designated chemical substances (including the percentage contained in products, residues, etc.). 2. Addition of reporting items for disposal contractors in electronic manifests - Effective date: April 1, 2027 [Overview] Previously, only information on the final disposal location was required, but now, if a portion of the residue is being recycled after intermediate processing, it will be necessary to report all routes, allowing the waste generator to verify this information. For more details, please check our company's website column.
